a Vintage Easter Creation...

Inspired by the Vintage Easter Blog Hop, I created these eggs using ribbons and notions and what-not that I discovered deep in the drawers of my Grandma's sewing machine drawers. I do hope to be more of a seamstress in that Someday Life, so I've packed up many of the supplies that I found to take back to CA with me, but I found this to be a fun way to display the notions for a holiday. To read all about that discovery click HERE and see what treasures were found.

With a bit of modge podge, book pages and plastic eggs,  I created the eggs with the idea of giving them to my sister and aunt for Easter. Well, I think they are going to be packed up in the suitcase and come home with me. After all, I AM the sentimental one.

Be festive and hop on over to Anything Goes Here to check out all of the bloggers' vintage treasures!

  1. Hi Jen,
I think this is a fabulous way to use some of the ribbons and notions from your grandmother's sewing drawers. Not only are the eggs beautiful but they are a new family heirloom. Every time these are displayed it will bring back wonderful memories of your grandma.
