DAY THREE
HANDMADE GIFT IDEA
As much as I'd love to, I can't take credit for this very cute and easy to make ornament - my best friend gave these to me last year as a gift. I was visiting Illinois, large and pregnant, and she came over with white paint and ornaments in hand and was successful in sneaking my girls upstairs to make their handprints. She even made one for my little baby girl that was "on board." She made these for all of her childrens' teachers and thought ahead the year before and bought several of the large ornaments on, you guessed it, the day after Christmas sale!
Aren't they adorable? I have them hanging from the light over the kitchen table so the girls can be see them and they are not lost among the various tree ornaments. Although they might appear to be glass, they are the large plastic ones....which fortunately I have seen many times at the dollar stores - another bonus to this cute craft!
such a sweet gift!
ReplyDeleteIsn't the dollar store the best? Ok, maybe not the very best but I love the deals! *smiles*
ReplyDeleteVery cute ornaments. Blessings... Polly
Cute! I've made similar ones with the kids but we made thumb print snowmen and then I decorated them with a Sharpie. I also used the cheap-o ornaments! : )
ReplyDeleteThose are super duper cute! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteJust love those! I'm heading to the dollar store to see if they have more. Thanks for the great crafty idea....I need all the help I can get in that department.
ReplyDeleteA simple, sweet fantastic idea!
