cleansing the clutter...

I finally bought the book "The Happiness Project." Before the book, I've been loyal to the website and to Woman's Day summary of the project, but I am truly motivated now that I have the actual book in my hands. Because it's a month by  month project, i am backtracking a bit to January which focuses on Increasing Energy. To do that, the author suggests to Declutter and tackle those projects that have been waiting for you for quite some time -- like the door to Izzy's closet that is hanging by one hinge, or the baskets of the girls' artwork that is waiting for a place to call home, or the throw pillows that are on the couch with pins still in them because I hate to handsew --you know, those kind of things. So I've consciously taken a break from the internet, from my blog, from email and you can instead find me deep in the closets sorting through clothes I forgot I even owned, or organizing the photos into photo boxes, or in the garage happily, yet sadly because they just keep growing up on me, getting rid of toys that are no longer played with. When my mind is cleansed and the clutter is lessened, I'll be back!

  6. I've been in the same mode! Yesterday instead of going online at all, I organized my wall of baskets in my living room and desk area! Crazy how we can collect so much. SO 1 room down only 4 or 5 more :)
